Gareth Malone needs little introduction. Presenter of the BAFTA-award-winning TV series The Choir, he has inspired countless individuals to take up the joyous pursuit of choral singing. Leeds Lieder welcomes the captivating choir master to train the Leeds Lieder Chorus in Fauré’s masterpiece, his Requiem. Come along and enjoy lifting your voices in the stunning setting of Leeds Minster.

Programme

Rehearsals begin at 3pm followed by a performance at 6pm.
Refreshments will be available at the Minster.

Details of the edition to be used will be communicated to participants nearer the time.

An Oxford University Press score will be loaned to all participants for this rehearsal. If you have your own copy of the OUP edition of Faure’s Requiem then please feel free to bring it.
