Festival volunteers
The Leeds Song Festival will take place from 11 – 18 April 2026, featuring 35 public events across various venues, including the Howard Assembly Rooms, Leeds Conservatoire, The Attic, Leeds Museum, and Left Bank Leeds.
The 2026 festival “Music gives a soul to the universe” brings you concerts and recitals by renowned artists like Roderick Williams OBE, Louise Alder, Marianne Crebassa, Huw Montague-Rendall, Gareth Malone, Dame Sarah Connolly, Patricia Nolz, and many more. Young Artist masterclasses will be led by the esteemed Bernarda Fink, Mark Padmore, and Roger Vignoles.
To support the festival, we are thrilled to offer a range of volunteering positions. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone eager to gain hands-on experience working on a vibrant inner-city music festival. Areas of work include artist liaison, event delivery, and marketing.
We are always grateful to our festival volunteers and are excited to hear from anyone interested in joining our team this year. If you would like to volunteer at the 2026 festival, please contact Tristan Watson at generalmanager@leedssong.com with the following information:
- The areas of the festival you’re interested in and what you hope to learn from being part of the team.
- Any relevant experience with similar festivals or events.
- An overview of your availability from 11 – 18 April. Our events run from 9am to 10pm daily, and we can offer flexible shifts to fit your schedule.
Join us in creating an unforgettable festival experience!
