Martina Neubauer
The Viennese soprano Martina Neubauer possesses a broad repertoire ranging from opera and operetta to concert and Lied.

On the opera stage Martina has appeared as Dido (Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas), Countess Zedlau (Wiener Blut), Eva the Diva (Von 0 bis Oper), Queen (Richard III. at the MusikTheater an der Wien), and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni, Vienna Opera Summer Belvedere).
In 2022, she won the LIONS Music Prize, the Gabriele Sima Scholarship, and the Musica Juventutis Competition of the Wiener Konzerthaus. In 2024, she reached the finals of the Otto Edelmann Singing Competition and the final round of the Neue Stimmen Competition. She also received the 2nd Prize and Audience Prize at the Hans Staud Music Prize.
As part of her vocal studies in Vienna, Martina has attended the operetta course with Wolfgang Dosch, where she had the opportunity to take part in masterclasses with Elīna Garanča, Linda Watson, Ian Bostridge and Adrian Eröd.
In addition to her work as an opera singer, Martina has a deep passion for concert repertoire and has appeared as a soloist at the Vienna Musikverein and the Vienna Konzerthaus. Furthermore, her passion lies deeply in art song. Together with her duo partner pianist Alexander Koschka, they regularly perform in concerts and song competitions. In 2025, they won the Audience Prize in the finals of the Sibelius Singing Lied Duo Competition in Finland, as well as Third Prize at the International Copenhagen Lied Duo Competition.
Martina is also committed to questioning musical boundaries and exploring new sound worlds and has founded the Aerelis Quintet together with four saxophonists. The ensemble combines classical tradition with sonic innovation and presents well-known works in a new light.
