Daniel Prinz
Daniel Prinz studied piano solo in Rostock and Zaragoza and is currently studying Lied at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin in the class of Wolfram Rieger.

The quiet, intimate tones that reflect the most honest moments of a person fascinated Daniel Prinz from an early age, the led him to explore the need to find the human voice in the piano during his studies at the Rostock University of Music and Drama. This fascination brought him into close contact with the Lied in his early bachelor’s semesters, which today represents one of the most important pillars of his musical work.
In 2022 Daniel, together with baritone Lars Conrad, was accepted into the concert sponsorship program of the German Music Competition. In 2023, they reached the final of the International Schubert Competition in Dortmund and made his debut at the Konzerthaus Dortmund.
At the start of 2025 the young Lied duo recorded their first album for GENUIN label in Leipzig. In songs by Brahms, Eisler, Schumann and Wolf, they explore images of masculinity in the field of tension between vulnerability and machismo, depression and mania, melancholy lost in thought and intoxicated exuberance.
Daniel has also won several prizes as a soloist and Lied partner at national and international competitions such as the Verfemte Musik interpretation competition in Schwerin, the Munich Piano Podium and Jugend Musiziert. Since 2023 he has been supported by Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now e.V. Berlin. He was invited to the Lied Academy LIEDBasel 2024.
