Tristan, originally from York, moved to South Wales in 2008 to take up a place at Cardiff University to read music, furthering his studies to Masters level in Music Composition.

Whilst at University, Tristan was heavily involved in a number of ensemble projects as conductor, clarinettist and orchestrator, which helped shape his early career and interest in Orchestral Management. Following a year as Orchestral Manager with the Welsh Sinfonia, Tristan returned to Yorkshire in 2012 to begin working at Leeds Conservatoire.

In his role of Performance and Workshops Manager with Leeds Conservatoire, Tristan oversaw and curated a busy and varied series of around 250 student events and projects each year.

Away from music, Tristan can be found unwinding by running over boggy moortops in and around Yorkshire!
