The Friends of Leeds Song are the heartbeat of our community, offering generous support and valued ambassadorship throughout the year.
As a Friend, you play a vital role in sustaining our work. Your contributions help us to run our acclaimed Education Programme, support Young Artist training, and present an annual season of concerts alongside our world-class Festival of Song.
Without your financial support—through subscriptions, donations and Gift Aid—we simply could not fill the city with song. Just as important is your ambassadorship, helping to spread the word and share your enthusiasm for Leeds Song.
Details of our Friends membership tiers are outlined below. To join, please complete the form below by indicating your preferred payment method. Should you require any assistance, please email info@leedssong.com or call 0113 243 4438 to speak with the Festival office.
We offer 2 tiers of Friends memberships as follows:
Annually, from £50 or monthly from £5 (via direct debit)
As acknowledgement of your support, as a Friend you will receive:
– Priority Festival booking for you and a guest
– Invitation for you and a guest to exclusive Festival events
– Quarterly Friends newsletter
Annually, from £150 or monthly from £15 (via direct debit)
As acknowledgement of your support, as a Friend you will receive:
– Priority Festival booking for you and a guest
– Invitation for you and a guest to exclusive Festival events
– Quarterly Friends newsletter
– Invitation for you and a guest to an exclusive recital
At the point of payment, there is the opportunity to make a higher annual donation for either membership tier if you feel able to do so.

To become a Friend of Leeds Song, start by selecting a payment method from the drop down menu below. If you wish to complete a paper form rather than join the Friends of Leeds Song digitally, please select to “pay by cheque”, which will give you the option to download and print our membership form which can then be returned to us by post.

Please note that while a portion of giving may be allocated to a specified purpose, contributions may also be used to cover the cost of other Leeds Song event/projects and work in general, as well as core costs, particularly in the event that a specific project or event does not proceed as planned or if its funding target has already been met. Projects and events to which contributions may be directed may include (though not limited to): the Young Artists Programme, the Composers & Poets Forum, headline artist recitals, rising-star recitals, commissions, schools education projects and learning and participation projects.
