Bruno Meichsner
Bruno Meichsner Berlin born lyric baritone, discovered his passion for singing through the Berlin Boys' Choir.

Bruno completed his vocal studies in 2025 at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin under Prof. Stephan Rügamer. He is a multiple prize winner of the 7. Internationale Haydn Gesangswettbewerb für klassisches Lied und Arie. In addition to the 1st prize, the young baritone won the Mozarthaus Vienna Prize and the Audience Prize.
As a concert singer, Bruno performs the major roles in a wide variety of oratorios and masses in concert halls such as the Philharmonie, the Konzerthaus Berlin and the Pierre Boulez Saal. He has performed with renowned orchestras such as the Rundfunksinfonie Orchester Berlin and the Kammersymphonie Berlin.
During his studies, Bruno Meichsner regularly appeared in music theatre productions at the HfM Eisler. These included “Die Zauberflöte” (Papageno) by W.A. Mozart, “Il mondo della luna” (Pasquino) by Joseph Haydn and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (Demetrius) by Benjamin Britten.
Bruno received important impetus in his musical development through his collaboration with Thomas Hampson, Wolfram Rieger and Martin Bruns. He expanded his training by participating in numerous masterclasses, including those with KS Robert Holl, KS Birgid Steinberger, Susan Manoff and Malcolm Martineau.
In 2026, Bruno will be part of the Young Artists Programme at the Leeds Song Festival. He was also a scholarship holder at the Lied Academy at the Heidelberg Spring Festival for the 2023/24 season.
