Art Song Challenge
Partnering alongside LIEDBasel, Schubertíada, Liedstadt, and Heidelberger Frühling, Leeds Song joins forces with fellow European song festivals to support young artists, rediscover art song and question established processes.
The Eurovision Song Contest will dominate the cultural scene in Basel and Switzerland in May 2025. Since we also love songs and have caught the competition fever, we are excited to jointly present the first Art Song Challenge (ASC) in 2025 alongside our European colleagues.
As Friends, partners and supporters of Leeds Song, we invite you to cast your vote in the competition’s audience award, which will see the winning act receive a €1000 prize. Five fantastic finalists have been nominated for this award, having been shortlisted from over 130 entries and 29 countries.
